Accessibility and beyond: with a background in sustainable, economic, and community development, deconstruction, and practical “hands-on” building construction, Mark Jackson, CASp, brings real-life knowledge and experience to bear to the field of accessibility compliance. Recently departing from Steven Winter Associates, Inc., where he spent almost 20 years managing a team of accessibility consultants who worked nationwide on civic, commercial, cultural, educational, hospitality, institutional, residential, recreational, and other projects, Mark founded nclusionary. nclusionary mission is to drive accessible and inclusive environments forward to improve access, opportunities, and resources for marginalized persons, including individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities and others, not currently served by federal, state, and local accessibility laws and codes. Through nclusionary Jackson strives to continue providing premium level accessibility compliance consulting services to clients, helping them understand and navigate the complex world of accessibility compliance, while advancing consulting services and current thinking beyond compliance.
